Baby showers aren’t as common in Europe as they are in the USA. Having had my baby in London, I didn’t get to have a baby shower. If I did have one though, I definitely would have gone with the French Country Baby Shower Theme! I absolutely adore it! I came across lots of inspiration for the shower from a favorite site Martha Stewart.

Lunalu's Diary: Alphabet Party Idea

For my daughter Luna’s first birthday party, I went with the alphabet theme. It was a really fun theme to play with. I sent out party invitations in the shape of the letter L for Luna. I made tshirts for the kids with their first initial using iron on letters for the party favors. I hung various sized letters from the ceiling. Oh and I noticed some inexpensive alphabet theme party favors on one of my favorite sites Oh dee doh which would also work perfectly!
