Anticipation

We are thrilled to announce that every month Little Lunalu will feature the winner of The Momtographer photo challenge. This month’s challenge was to capture anticipation. Congrats are in order for Bri who did an amazing job! Here’s the scoop on the photo! Enjoy!

The children in the photograph are a friend’s children. I just recently got a new DSLR and I take ANY excuse I can to use it. My friend, her family, my son and I went to the park and, as always, I brought along my camera. Her daughter was absolutely fascinated with the Canadian geese at the lake, and of course her husband was telling the Valerie to go get the goose. The geese are pretty well used to being fed so when both of the children got close, it got up to meet them expecting to be thrown a few pieces of bread. You can tell from the picture that her son, Jamie, was expecting to have to make a run for it, and the goose was expecting a handout.  Needless to say, their mom LOVES this picture and was super excited for me when it won.
